Before setting your goals for this year - make sure to reflect on 2023. ⌛

I’ve been doing this practice for three years straight now.
Previously, I wasn’t a big “reflector” of the past year. I thought - the past is past; I can’t do anything about it - so why bother reflecting? Big mistake. 🚫
Thinking about your wins and failures is one of the most rewarding experiences.
When you reflect on your past, you realize:
- What your priorities are 🎯
- What matters to you and you only 💡
- What was the cause of your mistakes ❌
- How you can avoid similar mistakes in the future 🚫
- What was the reason for the successes that you had ✨
- How you can use this knowledge to repeat what worked 🔁
I can honestly say that this practice helped me set better goals for the upcoming year. And most importantly the goals that are relevant to me and align with my values.
I use a free tool called YearCompass for my reflection. Here is the link - https://yearcompass.com/
